Whats a good minor to go along with a modern languages major?
I’ve changed my previous major and decided to major in modern languages, studying Japanese, Chinese,french, and Russian..and also Icelandic if I can find it. Icelandic would be the only one I’m starting from scratch.
I’m not really interested in regular business,medical,law, or teaching so I imagine I would like it less having to learn it in another language.
Though I do have interest in psychology and sociology.
If I wanted to be a translator/interpreter and do stuff like write translations for literary writing,journalism,tour guide,air port assistance,multilingual careers what would be a good minor to take?
I would think Linguistics would be a good minor.You said you wanted to do some writing maybe journalism or a minor with a number of composition classes would help
