Brass Plug
bathtub plug problem?
The rubber stopper is gone due to bleach cleaning.I have a huge oval tub with a brass plug . The rubber stopper to hold water underneath is dissolved due to cleaning w/bleach so it holds no water in tub…What do I do? Oh The brass plug has no screw so I can’t unscrew it. But there is a brass circle under facet with screw? OMG! I miss my baths! Thanks There use to be a rubber ring under brass stopper…It has ran away? lololololol
The backing pl ate that has a screw will access the plunger base , remove the screw work out the armature and go from there. Some installations have a hidden access panel at 12 o’clock or on the other side of the wall. On some systems the brass ring at the mouth of the hole is threaded and can be unscrewed.
