Is it possible to be allergic to latex condoms but no other latex products?
I was wondering is it possible to be only allergic to latex condoms but not other latex product (like hang gloves, latex clothing…)
I had sex with a latex condom and during sex it felt really dry, burning and uncomfortable (i was wet before we had sex) and the next morning my vagina was red, itchy, burning, burned to pee, sensations, and very dryness and had this smell. That lasted for about 1 week. ( i know it not a STD i had/have). After a week it finally cleared up…
So i thought maybe i am allergic to latex condoms.. So next time i had sex, i made sure it was with a NON latex condom and it turn out to be it was fine, i didn’t have a reaction or dryness.
Could it be possible that i am allergic to latex condom but not other latex products?
No. If you are allergic, you are allergic. However, you COULD be allergic to the lubricant, or spermicide on that particular brand of condoms. If you do fine with this new brand, stick with it! Good Luck.
